London sees world’s first hydrogen-powered double-decker

London mayor Sadiq Khan has recently unveiled the city’s first double-decker hydrogen bus. The bus, manufactured by Wrightbus, will be trialled on the English capital’s roads in 2017.

 “I want London to become a world leader in hydrogen and electric bus technology. I’m implementing hard-hitting measures to clean-up London’s toxic air” he said.

The mayor wants all London buses to meet the Ultra-Low Emission Zone standard by 2020.
