The best city, transit operator, tourism and innovation winners have been announced in IRU’s Smart Move bus and coach awards for 2015.

  41st Busworld in Kortrijk Biggest Ever

23 October 2015

The 41st edition of Busworld (23rd in Kortrijk) was kicked off by the president of Busworld, Redgy Deschacht with some impressive news. This year´s Busworld was the biggest ever with 411 exhibitors out of which 59 were manufacturers. Read more                                                                        

 

The All-India High Level Group gains new members!

18 September 2015

The All-India HLG is delighted to welcome two new members, who will join the work in mapping out a joint vision and providing policy and business recommendations, as well as an Action Plan on removing existing barriers and facilitating bus and coach transport and taxis in India. Electric future for London double deckers

12 August 2015

During the Clean Bus Summit in London it was announced that the first electric double decker bus, designed and built by BYD, will enter service in the city in October. The aim is to reduce the air pollution levels in the capital. Read more
