Coach tourism fuels German economy & employment The “Economic Impact of Coach Tourism“, a two-year study involving 3,000 coach travelers and companies, published by the German Association for bus and coach (bdo) shows that coach tourism in Germany generates annual sales of EUR 10.5 billion Euros and ensures over 200,000 employments, including in hotels, leisure facilities, and gastronomy.

World's longest buses: sustainable and efficient transport in Brazil The Brazilian city of Curitiba, the capital of the southern Brazilian state of Parana has introduced 544 environmentally-friendly 28-metre-long-double-articulated buses, which represent 29% renovation of the Curitiba Rapid Transit System and can carry about 77,000 passengers per day, reducing the carbon dioxide emissions by 50%.
