Home News Solaris to supply 99 HVO buses to Oslo
Solaris, the biggest Polish bus manufacturer, has won two contracts with two public transport operators in Oslo to supply a total of 99 Urbino buses.
The first order of 75 Urbinos of the 18.75-meter variant is for operator Unibuss. The elongated buses will be equipped with Euro 6 engines compliant with Euro 6 emission targets. The second order of 24 Urbino 12 buses will be delivered to operator Nobina. All buses will run on latest generation biofuel - Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). The delivery of both orders is expected at the beginning of next year.
The Polish bus company is a very important supplier in Norway as 369 Solaris buses can be currently seen on the streets of 24 Norwegian cities. Next year’s addition will increase this number to 468.
